Vittorio is the director and lifeblood of the company who with rigour and care, is present at every stage of our work.
Alongside him is Lucia, his wife, friend and passionate collaborator.
With her unbridled imagination, Ester is the creative director; Antonio takes care of administration and accounting and finally, Eddie, the youngest, is in charge of staff and maître d’hotel.
Gala Banqueting is a company that has been working in Salento for fifteen years in the field of catering and organisation of exclusive events. Our job is to make your memories unforgettable: listening to the customer, involvement in all the organisational stages, attention to details, competent staff, dream location, food and wine selection of very high quality.

› 2006
In May a dream began, Vittorio Rizzo launched Gala, the sole proprietorship with which Vittorio took his first step. With the perseverance and stubbornness that have always distinguished him, he starts working organising small ceremonies.
› 13 aug 2006
The day of the second wedding, although we remember it as the first real beginning. With an impeccable ceremony, the dream is closer.
› 9 dec 2006
The first wedding. A young couple trusts a company that is still young and inexperienced but is already working with stubborn passion.
› 2007
With three weddings to plan, Gala began to make a name for itself and the following year it doubled in number with six ceremonies.
› 2009
A very difficult year that has put a strain on the company and the family. Moving forward or giving up on a dream?
› 2010
On a cold February morning, Luca and Paola got married (we still remember them) and everything started to flow again.
› 2012
Since 2010, Gala has grown exponentially and on 23 June organised its first wedding in the beautiful Villa Zaira.
› 2016
80 weddings to plan, we almost can’t believe it and on 31 December Gala becomes a family-run SRL.
› 2018
Proud of the work done over the years and the growth achieved, we sign an exclusive agreement with Villa Zaira. Moreover, in November, Gala Banqueting is included in the volume of the 100 Italian Excellencies.
› 2020
We change our visual identity, our image, the words we use to tell our story, because everyone knows that we love stories and ours is becoming more and more compelling.
